One long painting. Many hands. A little piece to take home.
I’m delighted to be dreaming up something new: Gathered Garden, a seasonal creative gathering bringing together flowers, colour, music, good company and something lovely to eat and drink.
Imagine a long, paper-covered table, flowers and botanicals for inspiration, and watercolours, pastels and crayons ready to explore. We’ll draw and paint together, gradually creating one long, collaborative botanical artwork.
There’ll be time to pause for drinks, delicious nibbles and conversation before returning to the painting and bringing it all together.
At the end of the evening, our shared artwork will be divided into individual pieces for everyone to take home — an original reminder of the evening and of something we’ve created together.
No artistic experience needed. Just curiosity, a willingness to play with colour and a desire to try something a little different.
Each gathering will celebrate a different season, creating opportunities to meet new people, enjoy making together and perhaps return for the next one.

It’s a relaxed, seasonal creative evening where around 14 of us will gather around one long table and create one enormous collaborative painting inspired by flowers and foliage.
We’ll draw, paint, experiment with colour and move around the table, adding to each other’s work. There’ll be music, conversation, something to sip and a few nibbles along the way.
At the end of the evening, the large painting will be cut into individual pieces so that everyone receives their own section — a little piece of a painting that we have all created together.
